Exciting Bull Riding Contestant Lineup Coming to Bismarck, ND This Weekend

Bismarck, ND – Get ready for an adrenaline-pumping weekend as top bull riders from across the country converge in Bismarck for an electrifying rodeo produced by Big Bucks ProRodeo company. The contestant lineup features some of the most accomplished Badlands Circuit contestants and promising talents in the sport. Here’s a sneak peek at the standout contestants in bull riding that are scheduled to compete:

Mason Moody (Letcher, SD): Mason Moody has made a significant mark on the rodeo circuit, recently earning the 2024 championship title for the Badlands Circuit in bull riding. He was awarded year-end champion and top finals average, and also claimed the Rookie of the Year award.

Thayne Elshere (Hereford, SD): Thayne Elshere, a rising star from a renowned rodeo family, has competed in both saddle bronc and bull riding. He has shown exceptional talent, qualifying for the College National Finals Rodeo and finishing first in the Central Rocky Mountain Region conference.  This past October he won the all-around cowboy title at the Badlands Circuit Finals winning $11,300 in saddle bronc and bullriding.  Elshere won the average title in Saddle Bronc Riding with 250.5 points on three head. He split the second-round win with Moody at the Badlands Circuit Finals.

Brody Nelson (Minot, ND): Brody Nelson is a young bull riding sensation who has already achieved remarkable success. He was the Youth World Champion in 2019 and reached the top 15 in the National High School Rodeo Association. Nelson continues to strive for his dream of becoming a World Champion Bull Rider

Koby Jacobson (Haiku, HI): Koby Jacobson is making history as the only five-time College National Finals Rodeo qualifier in Mid Plains Community College history. Despite battling injuries, Jacobson has consistently performed at a high level, securing multiple championships and accolades

Kahiwa Augustiro (North Platte, NE): Kahiwa Augustiro is a versatile rodeo athlete who recently took home the All-Around buckle at the 2024 Iowa State University Cyclone Stampede Rodeo. He excelled in multiple events, including bull riding, where he finished second.
